September 2019 Edition
This is a must have for me! This convenient little zipper pouch is a great travel companion and is always in my purse. Since I travel for work, having these on hand have been a life saver more than once. From headaches, to muscle pains, upset stomachs and stuffy noses - this kit is my ride or die, need to have remedy kit. If you have a Saje store near you, I highly suggest you going into the store.
I have loved Fitglow Beauty products for years! They are 100% my go to for all things skin care and make up. They are organic, natural, green products, that are cruelty free, vegan and have amazing benefits, and oh - they smell amazing! I have combo skin that is prone to breakouts. This cloud balm is heaven on my skin. I use it at night only (only because I use their cloud comfort cream in the morning under my make up) and my skin drinks it up! It smells amazing and is super light on my skin. The cool part is that they have made this a refillable pot! The inside pops out when you are done with it and you can buy the pot alone! 100 points for thinking about the environment!
3. Smart Sweets
Raise your hand if you have a sweet tooth! Me too :) So I was super pumped when I was introduced to these bad boys. Conventional candy is loaded, I repeat - LOADED with gross, harmful sugars and chemicals. What I love about Smart Sweets is that they felt the same way and gave us sweet tooth peeps a better alternative! Per bag there is just 3g of sugar! There is no artificial colours or flavours, no sugar alcohol, non-GMO, gluten free and some are also vegan. I have tried and devoured all 4 (soon to be 5) kinds and have to stop myself from eating them all at once - they are that good! I also love that they recreated childhood favourites and that there is sour and sweet choices. Something for everyone - but for me, these are a non-sharing snack. Get your own! :)
These cards are super fun! They are a great give for the Yogi in your life as well. I bought these a loooong time ago and still to this day will bring them out when I need an easy, no though needed flow. Just follow the simple number directions and you have a basic, easy beginner sequence to flow too. These cards are great for learning to build a flow sequence as well. While it takes most of the guess work out of it, you are still able to create and be creative with the flow and sequencing. They have an advanced card deck as well, that is on my wish list!
5. Jade Roller
I hopped on this beauty wheel about a month ago. After seeing and reading about this, I found an inexpensive one at Marshalls and thought, "why not! Let's do this!". So I'm doing the thing, every night in my night time face care routine. Is it doing anything? Not sure. But what I can say is that I love using it! It is cold as it is a stone, so it is nice on tired and puffy eyes in the morning. I use it after I apply my serum/oils to work it deeper into my skin. I find this helps as I was always rushing to apply my moisturizer right after and knew I was missing out on the true benefits of that serum/oil. Using the Jade Roller allows me to connect to what I am doing, in the moment. This gives me time to meditate standing up and prepare myself for a better sleep. I wouldn't spend top dollar for this beauty tool, but I would say give it a go!
6. HealthAde Kombucha - Pomegranate
I was late to the Kombucha train. I tried a few when it was becoming a thing, but hated the taste of them all! I'm all for health benefits and gut health, but damn, it tasted foul. But than I found this brand, and damnnn did my taste buds dance! I have only tried the pomegranate flavour, as that is a favourite of mine, but it speaks to me in ways that you would only understand if you tried it! It's kinda bubbly with a refreshing hit of flavour. There is no bad after taste like I experienced with other brands. If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don't, why not?!) you have seen that I drink this quite a bit and from a stemless wine glass. Because life is too short not too! If you have been on the fence about trying Kombucha, or you have had the same experience as me - try this brand!
7. Zyia Active Wear - All Star Sports Bra
I love active wear! And really, who doesn't now a days? Most, like me, are on the hunt for great quality, high preforming items that stand the test of time, are worth the investment and will hold me together through all that I put my body through. I have tried all price points when it comes to workout wear, and yes, like most things - price equals value. This sports bra is great for high impact workouts offering support and style in one. With the easy zipper back, crop top like design and mesh for breath-ability - this sports bra gets an A+ from me! It comes in a few other colours too! 8. Jane the Virgin - TV Show
Confession time: I binge watched this show! I was hooked after season 1 and abandoned all my responsibilities, chores and sleep because this show had me hooked. Netflix in all its glory kept recommending this show to me, and I kept resisting, but let me tell you something. Those Netflix people know their stuff LOL This funny, romantic, & somewhat far out there sitcom was just what I needed. It goes from "common, really? As if that could happen" to "OMG! Did that just happen?", "Oh no she didn't"....and so on! I love the characters and the show transforms them as the seasons progress. The whimsical narrative really, for me, makes the show. Without it, it would just be blah! If you are looking for an easy, fun loving show to watch - this is it! And the eye candy is not bad either ;)
